Most Asked Questions

We meet to bring sacrifices of praise to the God of our understanding at 11am during our Sunday Celebration at The Chapel, located in the corner of Farmington Avenue and South Main Street, West Hartford.  Come ready to sing, listen to scripture reading, pray (in words and reflective silence).  We sing contemporary worship music and intentionally make room for other genre as we celebrate our diversity.

What do I wear? We come to worship together, not to a fashion show! Dress comfortable, you can wear suit and tie, casual slacks, jeans or shorts… We envision Jesus to have been a very casual kind of guy, always dressed in Love and ready for Action! Whatever you decide to wear, you will be welcome!

Where do I Parking? You can park along South Main Street. You can park behind the church and take the elevator to The Chapel, or you can park in the parking lot of Bank of America on Farmington Avenue and walk to The Chapel.

We are wheelchair accessible. There are handicapped spaces on Farmington Avenue; you can enter The Chapel through the doors near The Garden.

Are Children Welcome? Absolutely! Children and young people are welcome. They are an integral and valuable part of our worship service.

When is Communion shared? On the First Sunday of each month, all those that gather in our community are invited to sit at the table and share this sacred meal, adults and children are welcome. You do not have to be a member to participate; you are welcome!

What about Offerings? We do not expect you to give but know that your treasures, time, talents and tithes are always welcome. Your generous gifts go to support our mission and ministries.
